DISTRICT 14C WILL PROVIDE QUALITY SERVICES TO OUR LOCAL AND WORLD COMMUNITIES THROUGH EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP AND ACTIVE PARTICIPATION TO SERVE THOSE IN NEED.
The District is comprised of Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs located throughout the Adams, Cumberland and York Counties.
The District Governor heads the District with the support of two Vice District Governors, Region and Zone Chairpersons, and Administrative and Project Chairpersons.
The District provides services and supports projects for sight and hearing impaired, educational programs for children at risk, diabetes, drug awareness, blood donations as well as community needs.
A president heads each club. The clubs support the District goals and also establish goals that meet the specific needs of their local communities.
I am a veteran of the U. S. Army and was employed by Caterpillar Inc. before retiring after 30 years of service. I am a lifelong resident of District 14-C, and reside in East Manchester Township with my partner in service, Lioness Wanda.
I joined the Susquehanna Lions Club in 1988 and served the Susquehanna Lions as president in 1999-2000.
I served on the board for directors for nine years and as club secretary for five years.
I served as zone chairperson in zone 3-B for two years and Vice District Governor in 2008-2009.
Now, I look forward to serving you as your governor in this 2009 - 2010 Lions year.
